On September 21, 2026, Patrick Cushing started his term as Interim City Manager under a one year contract.

The City Manager is appointed by the City Council and is responsible for:

• Serving as the chief administrative official of the city.
• Appointing and supervising department heads.
• Negotiating contracts and agreements for the city.
• Participating in Council meetings.
