COVID assistance for overdue water/sewer bills
The state is again offering funding assistance for those with overdue utility bills, including water/sewer.
Vermont COVID-19 Arrearage Assistance Program II
Are you a resident or business that has been affected financially by COVID-19 and are having trouble paying your electric, natural gas, landline telephone, water or sewer bills? Do you have delinquent water/sewer bills that are at least 30 days past due? The Vermont Department of Public Service has a program to help you. This program is available to eligible applicants on a first come first serve basis, and can cover delinquent bills going back to April 2020. Apply for assistance before October 25, 2021.
