Barre City Lighting of the Pumpkins Contest

 Event Details

Date: Saturday, October 25
Location: Mathewson Playground
Time: Set-up pumpkins between 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM
Judging: Begins promptly at 5:30 PM

Bring your pre-carved pumpkins for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant in Barre City!

Contest Rules
Theme: Jack-O’-Lantern
Carve the scariest face you can onto your pumpkin!
Only face designs will be considered for this contest.
You may enter as many pumpkins as you can carry.
Lit pumpkins will remain on display until 6:00 PM for the community to enjoy and photograph.
After the display, please take your pumpkin home to add to your Halloween decorations.

Prizes
The winner will be awarded a $50 restaurant gift certificate immediately following the judging.

Additional Information
This is a rain-or-shine event, so bring an umbrella if rain is expected.
All pumpkins must be removed by contestants at the close of the event.
This is a fire-free event — no candles, please!
Bring a flashlight if you’d like; this will be a twilight event.
Free glow sticks will be available while supplies last.
