Elevations RFP for Engineering Services

The City of Barre, Vermont is requesting proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide professional engineering services for the Barre Residential Elevation Program.

The City of Barre is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for the elevation of three existing residential structures above flood elevation per Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA). The selected firm will provide the engineering, coordination, and support necessary to facilitate permitting, design, construction, and project completion in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and Codes.

The three residential properties included in this project are:

·       17 Vine Street, Barre, Vermont

·       114 River Street, Barre, Vermont

·       22 Berlin Street, Barre, Vermont

Funding for this project has been secured through municipal and/or federally supported flood mitigation funding sources.
