IMPORTANT NOTICE: PAYMENT POLICY CHANGE
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026
NO MORE POSTMARKS ACCEPTED
As approved by the Barre City voters at the 2026 annual meeting election, payments made to the City must be received in City Hall by close of business (4:30 PM) on the due date to be considered timely. Postmarks are no longer accepted.
EASY WAYS TO PAY:
Sign up for Direct Debit (thru Clerk's office or City website: barrecity.org) Free of charge
Pay online through City website: barrecity.org. Convenience fees apply
Pay in person in City Hall
Use the drop box to the right of the front doors of City Hall (must be dropped off by 4:30 PM on due date)
