Summer Meals
School is out, summer has begun!!! The Barre Unified Union School District announced the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program and the availability of summer meals for children ages 18 and under in the Barre area. Meals are available to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability or age, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
New this year!! To help students stay nourished and help return to school ready to learn, multi-day meal boxes containing 7 Breakfasts and 7 Lunches including fresh milk will be provided for children once per week at the locations listed below each Tuesday from June 23rd through August 18th, on a first come, first serve basis. There is a limit of one meal box per child and meal service times must be followed. Meal boxes may be picked up by parents, guardians and children, meals are provided at no charge for children in the household ages 18 and under.
